ABOUT THE PROJECT

Joy results are starting to come in:

267 Participants

226 Completed forms

195 Participants that reported experiencing Joy

24 Participants did not report experiencing Joy

7 Participants Undecided

We started exploring the idea of ‘joy’ because we liked the challenge of being held to a tone that was not cynical or ironic. We also think that it's worth paying attention to something we are always trying to achieve but can never really describe. Working on an ephemeral idea from a clinical perspective allows us to build failure as well as success into the experience.

Hopefully the experience feels grounded in a familiar context (like giving blood or going through customs) and leads to an unexpected place. We hope through this familiarity to lay the groundwork for real explorations and meetings with strangers, and to let you be our guests and guides.
