This Rugged Beauty

[none]
A poetic parody of NZ theatre tropes featuring a lost child, an isolated cabin and a whale stranding.
ABOUT THE PROJECT

When ‘kiwi identity’ becomes a marketed commodity, how do we express who we are? Does any ‘New Zealand Story’ align with reality, or are they all just selling something? Iconoclastic and satirical, This Rugged Beauty blends the narrative of the 'NZ story' with a fictional product launch where our identity is the product on sale.
